This poem is about the glass images of my heart..., the broken panes..the windows to the soul the stained glass images and the heart of glass that is fragile
"MY HEART OF GLASS"
From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane kahon
There's a way for shattered hearts To mend their broken panes It's through loving and through giving And through calling passion's name... Through the windows of my heart I see Every time and place we knew And it's a stained glass masterpiece When the visions are of you The essence of my awakened dreams Are shadows on my wall today My heart beats strongly for you alone In vivid color...nothing.. grey Like a kaleidoscope of colors My heart explodes when I drink your wine Colors burst from every vein Just knowing that you're mine The windows in my heart are open wide The voice of love shall soon declare Theres nothing more beautiful Than the moonlight in your hair You never leave me longing my heart's in the summer of my youth Whenever I'm with you My echoed heart speaks the truth But you will never live long enough For me to say what's to be told .. My heart is fragile glass with you While your heart Is made of gold Written by Susan Jane Kahon 7:42 pm July 2 2002 IC...U
