Reflections Of You
From the poetry collection of Susan Jane Kahon
Every time I walk along the boulevard.. I see your face in the wind.. And on a cloudy day with the rain at bay I see every place that you've been Stars may come and the sun may go But you will remain in my heart Every small rainbow reminds me of you And you are every new day that starts.. The trees whisper your name in the night The owls hoot at the moon But your presence is always there And I'm hoping you're coming home soon My sleep is disturbed with thoughts of love My lips meeting yours when I wake To love you each morning..every day that I live Would be more love than I ever could take So all the elements of your love do exist And the love that we have is so rare There's nothing sweeter that I can think of Than running my hands through your hair Your morning sun walks me through my day And your love fits me just like a glove I'm waiting for you to return to me And I'm thanking the angels above Love shouldn't be pain It should feel like we do And nothing should go unfulfilled The morning dew still echoes you I love you..and I always will written by Susan Jane Kahon July 17 2002 ICU!!!! 10:16 PM
