"Dreams Walk At Midnight"
From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane Kahon
Dreams go walking by at midnight Every soul goes searching deep When first the moonlight starts it's dance All lovers wake up from their sleep Seeking joy where once was none The nightime tells it's special tale A man and woman weave their spell Under the moon, yellow and pale... As stars dance across the sky And angels carry dreams on wings Mere mortals that we are..in love Take every joy that love can bring Rich imagination flowing free Makes all our loving so complete When first our eyes meet tenderly And lips caress and taste so sweet We sing..we dance..we fall in love Strange melodies..they fill the air Enchanted, we are by these songs That bliss is scattered everywhere I'm so grateful to the winds of past They wind patterns across my heart Two hearts who dare to love so much Cannot ever bear to be apart The warm winds follow blasts of ice To bring forth the best, of passion..bold For nothing makes the flame burn more Than making new love...from the old So let dreams walk by, when midnight comes Let fingers touch, let visions flow We live for love within the night For within our dreams..our love will grow Written by Susan Jane Kahon August 12 2002 IC...U!!!!!!!! 4:49 PM Page Completed
